Trust & safety
What the LFG Atlas Discord bot and website can see, what they store, and how to remove anything.
Permissions
- The bot is added with the
applications.commandsscope only. It doesn't join your server as a member and has no permissions: it can't read, send, delete or moderate messages, and it doesn't ask for Message Content or any privileged intent. - It only receives what Discord sends when someone uses one of its commands, and replies through Discord's interaction response.
- Channel feeds use a webhook you create; delete it and the feed stops.
What we store
- Posts people make: the text they typed, their chosen public contact (Discord username or invite) and settings. Deleted when they expire (1 hour to 7 days; server and clan listings up to 30 days, renewable) or are deleted by the poster.
- Channel feeds: server, channel and webhook IDs, games, counters and the webhook secret encrypted.
- Spam limits: short-lived counters keyed by a hashed IP address, gone within 24 hours.
- We don't store Discord user IDs, message history or server member lists, and we never sell or share data.
Safety
- No links in titles or notes, scam and slur filters, posting pace limits and a live-post cap per contact.
- Every post has a Report button; reported posts are hidden for review. Email gattlingheads@outlook.com for takedowns; we act within 24 hours.
- Feeds never ping @everyone, @here, roles or users, and send at most 30 posts an hour per channel.
- Payments (optional boosts) go through Stripe; contacting players is never paywalled.
Remove everything
- Bot: Server Settings → Integrations → LFG Atlas → Remove (or User Settings → Authorized Apps for an account install).
- Feed: delete the webhook, run
/lfg-setup stopor use your private stop link. - A post: its private delete link,
/lfgreply link, or email us.
