LFG Atlas tries to collect as little as possible. Here's what we collect and why.

No accounts, no tracking cookies

There's no sign-in. We don't use advertising trackers or tracking cookies. Your browser's local storage remembers posts you made (so you can delete them) and posts you reported; this never leaves your device except when you use those buttons.

What we collect

Discord bot

The LFG Atlas Discord bot only receives what Discord sends when someone uses one of its commands (/lfg, /lfg-find, or "Post to LFG Atlas" on your own message). It never reads other messages and doesn't request message-content access. When you post with it, we store the post you typed plus your Discord username (or the invite you gave) as the public contact, the same as a post made on the website, and it is deleted when the post expires or you delete it. We don't store your Discord user ID, servers or messages, and we never sell or share this data.

Discord channel feeds

If a server admin connects a channel feed (with /lfg-setup or on /discord/feed/), we store the server ID, channel ID, webhook ID, the chosen games, a private stop link, counters (posts sent, last sent) and the webhook's secret part encrypted, so it can't be read from our database. Feeds only send public LFG Atlas posts. We delete the feed when it's stopped, and we turn it off automatically if the webhook is deleted in Discord. We never read anything from the channel.

Apps, bots and AI assistants

Live posts are also available through our free public API, RSS feeds and AI-assistant (MCP) connector, showing the same public post details as the website. Apps and AI assistants can post for a player only when that player asks them to, using the player's own contact; those posts are public like any other and are marked with the app's name. To limit spam, our server keeps short-lived counters keyed by a hashed (scrambled) version of the requesting IP address; they expire within 24 hours. See Developers & AI.

Where it's stored

Posts, form submissions and analytics are stored with our database provider (Supabase). The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which may process basic request data to serve and protect the site. If a post uses a Discord invite, your browser may contact Discord when you click Join.

Sharing

We don't sell your personal information. We only share it with the service providers above to run the site, or if the law requires it.

Keeping and deleting

Posts expire automatically (30 minutes to 7 days) and can be deleted any time with your private delete link. Want something removed, or your email deleted? Email gattlingheads@outlook.com and we'll do it.

Kids

The site isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy; the effective date above will change when we do. Questions? Email gattlingheads@outlook.com.
